Armani Group Expands into China with the Launch of Armani/Caffè in Beijing

The Armani Group has recently unveiled its inaugural restaurant in China, the Armani/Caffè, situated within Beijing’s China World Shopping Mall. This establishment signifies Giorgio Armani’s deepening connection with the city and the broader Chinese market, offering patrons an immersive experience into his distinctive lifestyle.

Designed by Giorgio Armani and his team of architects, the Armani/Caffè boasts a main entrance on the mall’s third floor, with direct access from the Giorgio Armani boutique below via an internal lift. Spanning 350 square meters, the venue accommodates up to 110 guests across two indoor dining areas, with an additional 40 seats available on a spacious outdoor terrace. The architectural design harmoniously blends contemporary aesthetics with retro elegance, featuring soft-lined furnishings and light blue and gold wallpaper adorned with the iconic palm motif.

Upon entering, guests are greeted by an elegant entrance leading to two distinct dining spaces: one offering a cozy, intimate atmosphere, and the other presenting a more expansive setting. The interior is accentuated by lamps and furnishings from the Armani/Casa collection, while natural light gently filters through windows overlooking the terrace. The flooring consists of large-slab terrazzo with champagne metal edging, complemented by bronzed mirror and gilded metal walls, evoking the sophisticated ambiance of the 1930s and 1940s.

The menu showcases Italian cuisine infused with international influences, emphasizing simplicity and lightness to create a refined and unique combination of flavors. The use of top-quality ingredients, meticulous preparation, and elegant presentation reflect Giorgio Armani’s philosophy of dining, elements that distinguish and unify all Armani restaurants worldwide.

This opening not only enriches Beijing’s culinary scene but also exemplifies the Armani Group’s commitment to expanding its global gastronomic footprint, seamlessly integrating fashion, design, and dining into a cohesive lifestyle experience.
